TO GOAL™: Asthma (IMPACT Pediatrics)


Summary:
This project is a pilot expansion of the original Improving Asthma Care and Treatment (IMPACT) program using the TO GOAL™ quality improvement model to lead 33 participating pediatricians and their teams through a 12 month comprehensive asthma quality improvement program. IMPACT Pediatrics is an approved Part IV project by the American Board of Pediatrics. Upon successful completion, physician participants will be eligible for Part IV credit.

IMPACT Pediatrics is one of 13 demonstration projects in the country  funded through the National Asthma Control Initiative, an initiative of the National, Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. The purpose of these demonstration projects, is to create successful, high-impact, practical solutions for implementing NAEPP EPR-3 and the corresponding Guidelines Implementation Panel Report.
