Medication Assistance

More than 1 million Virginians have no health insurance. While paying for prescription medications is a burden for many, it is impossible for some. In fact, more than one in four uninsured Virginians go without needed medications because they cannot afford to pay for their prescriptions.

The Medical Society of Virginia Foundation is partnering with like-minded organizations to improve the provision of free medications to Virginia's uninsured patients through:

	Improving the provision of free medications to low-income, chronically ill patients of MSV member physicians.
	Improving access to free medications for the patients of Virginia's free clinics and community health centers.
