Attention physicians interested in volunteering with the Haiti medical relief efforts

The MSV Foundation just received word that the USNS Comfort is setting up a 150 bed field hospital in Port au Prince and would like Virginia physicians to help staff it. Physicians would be deployed on Feb. 4 from Jacksonville, FL and would be gone for two weeks. They need for us to identify the following for the first rotation:

• Cardiologist (1)
• Critical Care (1)
• Dermatologist (1)
• Emergency Medicine (2)
• Family Pratice or Internal Medicine (3)
• Infectious Disease (1)
• Nephrologist (1)
• Neurologist (1)
• Otolaryngolist (1)
• Pathologist (1)
• Psychiatrist (1)
• Pulmonologist (1)

The military has asked that we send them a list of names by the close of business today. We know this is a challenging timetable - but also know that many of you are eager to help. If you are interested please e-mail MSVF at foundation@msv.org. Thanks!
