DOC RxRelief completes its second year

September concluded the second year of operation for the DOC RxRelief medication assistance program. During the past year, the program has grown substantially due to increased recruitment efforts and the hard work of our patient advocate, Sheila Stells. As of Sept 30, 342 patients were enrolled in the program. Of these, 293 are currently active with the program and have received 1,238 prescriptions totaling over $575,000 in free medications. We thank the 171 physicians from 18 practices across the Commonwealth for participating in the program and helping their patients receive needed medication. It is our pleasure to serve you and your patients.
