TO GOAL Expands to Asthma

In January, the Foundation launched IMPACT: Improving Asthma Care and Treatment with grant support from Merck. This quality improvement initiative builds upon the model developed in TO GOAL by utilizing expert physician and clinical faculty to guide physician participants in identifying best practices in asthma care; developing achievable plans for integrating these practices into clinical care; and providing tools and technical
assistance for plan implementation. Participation in IMPACT qualifies physicians for Part IV of their Maintenance of Certification.
