Virginia Physician Haitian Relief

As part of its mission to better equip Virginia physicians to improve the health of their patients, the MSV Foundation is responding to the need for medical relief in Haiti by actively assisting Virginia physicians that want to volunteer their expertise and provide much needed medical care. We are working with established partners such as Operation Smile, Operation Blessing, Physicians for Peace, Partners in Health, and the USNS Comfort to identify physician service opportunities, match physicians to these opportunities, and provide appropriate informational resources prior to departure.

Multi-lingual Medical Glossary - The Hesperian Foundation is offering complimentary downloads of a Kreyòl-Spanish-French-English glossary of medical terms with more than 4,000 entries. The Foundation, along with its partners and volunteers, has also established a health resources wiki with materials available in Creole.
